In Aurora, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Illinois vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 9 am–8 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (630) 896-5001. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

Its Google rating is 3.9 out of 5 from 171 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

Aurora is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. Getting around Aurora is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Illinois's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Elite Automotive Review Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) Avoid this shop at all costs. I had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience here. The customer service is terrible—the staff is extremely rude, dismissive, and disrespectful when you try to ask questions about your vehicle. On top of the awful attitude, their prices are completely overpriced. Worse yet, they lack professional integrity. They went ahead and changed parts on my vehicle that did not need to be changed just to pad the bill and rip me off. Save your time, your money, and your sanity. Take your vehicle to an honest mechanic who actually respects their customers and doesn't pull shady tactics like replacing perfectly fine parts. I will never bring a vehicle back here again.

PLEASE STAY AWAY!!! TERRIBLE WORK AND CAR NOW IN WORSE CONDITION THEN WHEN BROUGHT IN!! Owner is very rude yelling and didn’t want to give quote for radiator and then finally ended up purchasing the part and replaced only for the car not to start now and they won’t take ownership of mistake and fix issue so now needs to get towed to new body shop for repairs that weren’t needed since it wasn’t related to the part they were working on and now say they can’t work on electrical issues or don’t know what’s wrong definitely going to report and dispute since they don’t seem to care or do anything to make it right but say to tow it and that it’s not their problem anymore they like to take advantage of people and deny everything please avoid them and never take your car if they can’t give you your car back in running condition like when it was left in the beginning

Great people to take your car to! Family owned, fair prices and friendly people. They were quick to get my car in the shop despite short notice and how busy they were.
